    Weddings and civil partnerships

  • No, celebrants like myself cannot complete the legal bit of a wedding or civil partnership in England - although the law may be changing on this soon! The person who does the legal bit is called the registrar, and at venues which are licensed for weddings/civil partnerships, celebrants and registrars often work side by side to ensure the legal and emotional elements of the service go smoothly.

Another option that many couples go for is to get married legally at their local town hall and then have a separate ceremony and party on another day.

  • Get in touch and I’ll set us up with a meeting on Zoom (or in-person in London if possible and preferred) where we’ll get to know each other and I’ll answer any questions you have. You have no obligation to book me until you’re absolutely sure. I want you to feel amazing about choosing me to officiate your ceremony.

  • Every ceremony is different. I’ll provide a unique price to you based on factors including location, length and complexity of ceremony. This includes all the required meetings, a carefully handcrafted ceremony and a rehearsal the day before or morning of the ceremony. Get in touch and let’s chat through what you’re looking for.

But I know that you’re thinking about your budgets and a figure is useful - my starting price for a full ceremony in London in 2026 is £450 (no VAT).
